Congratulations to IUE-CWA and Manager Mike Sheehan for repeating as LNSP Indoor Softball Champs!

IUE-CWA defeated At Witz End 2-1 in the Championship game.

IUE-CWA ended up with the #2 Seed after going 2-1 in round robin play. IUE-CWA beat the #3 seeded Team Merka 12-3 in the first round of the playoffs then beat #4 seeded At Witz End 2-1 in the final at bat of the Championship game.

LNSP’s long-standing, signature indoor soccer tournament, the Cities Championship Cup, will be expanded in 2012 to include (2) separate weekends in partnership with NOGSL north east ohio’s largest girls league.

• BOYS (U8-High School): January 27th – 29th, 2012
• GIRLS (U8-High School): March 9th – 11th, 2012

Since its inception in 1999, this tournament has promoted a fun, competitive challenge for community-based teams throughout Northeast Ohio. In recent years Hudson United has placed the most teams in championship brackets—will your team enter the winner’s circle in 2012?

Congratulations to Willowick Cafe and Manager Dom Polito for winning 2012 Winter Rec Division Championship.

Willowick Cafe defeated Team Jordan in the Championship game 61-44.

Willowick Cafe finished the season 10-2. Going 6-2 in the regular season to earn the 5th seed. They upset the #1 Seeded Van Duzen 49-48 in the semi-Finals. Then defeated the #7 seeded Team Jordan in the Championship.

Congratulations to The Players Club and Manager Tom Contenza for winning 2012 Winter B Division Championship.

TPC defeated Finish Line in the Championship game 77-72 in OT.

TPC finished the season 9-2. Going 6-2 in the regular season to earn the 4th seed. They upset the #1 Seeded Center For Dental Health 64-58 in the semi-Finals. Then defeated the #6 seeded Finish Line in the Championship.

Congratulations to Signum/Shannon Fence and Manager Jerry Rich for winning 2012 Winter A Division Championship.

Signum/Shannon Fence defeated cafe 56 in the Championship game 69-67 on Jerry Rich’s free throws with 11 seconds left.

Signum/Shannon Fence finished the season 6-4. Going 4-4 in the regular season to earn the 4th seed. They upset the #1 Seeded Players Club in round one. Then defeated the #2 seeded Cafe 56 in the Championship.
